Audio haptics or triggers not responding

Grip vibration and trigger resistance are separate channels.

Start with the right channel

Audio haptics vibrate the grips. Adaptive triggers change L2/R2 resistance. Trigger presses generating grip vibration are not adaptive resistance.

Grip vibration

Check the captured source and input meter. A silent source produces no audio effect. Use the grip test without a game or music to separate capture from output. Start with Balanced or Gentle and modest gain. Sample meters do not measure physical motor strength.

Adaptive triggers

Select the intended physical controller and check feedback ownership. Local effects can override game-authored effects. Run a short preview, squeeze while active and stop the preview before comparing ownership modes. Edge testing should use long rear trigger travel; actual resistance still needs verification.

USB and Bluetooth

Availability is mode-specific. A missing USB audio endpoint is not a controller-wide ban on Bluetooth haptics. Read the selected mode status and capture errors.

Still stuck?

Prepare a support report or return to the troubleshooting hub. A browser controller test can help observe input, but does not verify Nexus mappings, virtual output or every feedback feature.
